I'm Kailey, the force behind Wayward Sound.

My work has primarily been in helping bring big ideas into fruition. This has included helping independent artists handle the many moving parts of building a career. I've gotten hands-on experience with booking, promotion, social media, content creation, website design & upkeep, scheduling, and the coordination that happens behind the scenes to make single and multi-bill projects.

I've also taken on larger projects, including proposing and organizing a benefit concert, bringing together the artists, venue, and promotional materials and outreach needed to make the event happen.

The reality is that independent artists and venues often have more on their plates than they can reasonably manage alone. In my time in the music industry, I have seen firsthand the frustration and limitations that lead to missed opportunities and stagnation. I want to help make your dream more organized, manageable, and effective, whether that means keeping a booking calendar in order, building an online presence, promoting a show, or helping bring an event idea or album roll-out to life.
